Many licensed therapists share the same baseline credentials.  The bond with you therapist matters.  Therapy works best when you feel a personal connection with the person you choose.

You might start by asking yourself:
  • Do I feel more settled after talking with her... or more spun up?
  • Do I feel seen in a precise way, or vaguely handled?
  • Does conversation flow easily between us?
  • Even without knowing everything about how she works, does her approach spark my curiosity?
  • When she reflects me, do I feel clarified or misunderstood?
  • Do I get the sense that she will stay present when the work gets intense?
  • Does she have the range to meet my deepest pain and my highest potential?
  • Fees matter. Ask early (or visit my FEES PAGE) so you're not building attachment to something that can't be sustained.

There's So Much Information Out There

The internet is overflowing with promises to help you heal. It can feel impossible to know what will ACTUALLY HELP.

If you already knew exactly what you needed, your choice of therapist would be simple. But most people just know they’re hurting, unhappy, and ready for relief. And most are overwhelmed about what to look for.

Let's break down what good counseling should be like.

Therapy as Re-Attachment

You weren’t meant to heal yourself, you were meant to be met.

From birth, our nervous systems learn safety through relationship.  Those early bonds shape how deeply we trust, love, and rest inside our own skin. When those bonds are strained or broken, therapy becomes a place to re-wire safety and connection... to learn what secure connection and emotional safety feel like in real time.

The bond we build in therapy matters. I work in a way that honors connection, because research, and my experience show that true healing happens when there’s real trust and care between us.

What Real Clients Want You To Know About Working With Paige

What Is Really Great Therapy Supposed to Do for Me?

Therapy isn't just a place to talk.  If you leave sessions feeling understood, but nothing changes in the way you feel, or your life - that's not enough.

In our work, I'm not just listening and nodding while you circle the same story.  We track patterns as they happen.  I listen for your emotion under your words.  I watch for your subtle nervous system shifts. I sense the places you go blank, speed up, or brace.

This work is designed to help you locate the root pattern - then unwind it. We work with what's actually driving the symptoms: old coping strategies that no longer serve, and emotional wounds that need release.

The goal isn't insight alone. The goal is more inner steadiness, clearer choices, and fewer old loops running your life.
