There is SO Much Information Out There.
The internet is full of offers to help you heal your life. Self-help resources, videos, membership courses, webinars, etc. It's overwhelming to try to choose what might be best for you.
If you know what you need, the decision will be easier. But most people don't really know what they need. They just know they are hurting and unhappy. They need relief. That's where getting advice from an ethical therapist comes in. She can guide you to the right kind of treatment.
The first thing you and I will do is visit for 30 minutes in a FREE consultation via phone. I'll ask you lots of questions about your situation, your feelings about it, the work you've done before, and much more. From that consultation, I'll be able to tell a LOT about what you need. I will give you advice as to where I think you ought to consider starting - and it may not be working with me. I'm not the right fit for everyone. Some people need what I offer. Other's need something else. My first priority is that you get aimed in the right direction for you.

Making the Decision to Work Together
There will be many factors that go into your choice about who to work with.
You'll want to ask yourself:
* "Is Paige a good personality fit for me?
* "Does communication flow between us?"
* "Do I feel I can trust her?"
* "Do I feel safe with her on the phone?"
* "Even though I don't know everything about the way she works, does her approach intrigue me?"
* "Are her fees going to work with my budget?"
* "Does she seem flexible?"
* "Does Paige seem like a therapist I can form a really close, intimate friendship with?"
You may have other questions for yourself, or for me. Make notes and let's talk about them during your consultation.

Beginning Our Work Together

Sessions Look Like This
Your first 15 sessions will be weekly. This ensures that we have time to strengthen an emotional bond with one another. The first session or two, we'll go through your life story so that I understand what you've been through. After that initial intake phase, we will be trying out interventions, homework, and we'll begin practicing hypnosis during the first 3-5 sessions. Remember that it takes time to build a relationship capable to holding the deepest parts of you. It takes a readiness and level of trust to begin sensitive hypnotherapy work. If you want to do the really deep, effective work, we have to build the foundation for that work. Don't worry - it won't feel like we're wasting a moment. An incredible number of my long-term clients have told me that our sessions together are their favorite time of the week. I have to wholeheartedly agree that it's my favorite time, too. :-)
I'm listening for a lot of detail at once.
I like to get to know your story while listening closely about who you are. At the same time, I'm looking for trauma, disappointments that may not have been resolved, moments of loss of identity, betrayals and other issues that we will want to focus on during our time together. One of my gifts is weaving complex details into a comprehensible picture.
I don't just do this because it's a job. I've taken the research data on attachment between therapist and client, and I've forged it into my own style of bringing a loving, joyful feeling to our relationship.
Loss of Community
There is a serious deficit of authenticity in our modern world. I sense a great deal of loss of some of the critical things which have kept humans feeling connected and safe for millennia. I see how these losses have affected our communities - and our individual selves. Not only do we not have enough commitment to each other, communication and meeting of the minds, but we have lost innate skills for allowing our nervous systems to speak to one another. A tremendous amount of resiliency was left behind when communities stopped living together in tight groups. Research shows, and I believe, the most important determinant of healthy outcomes is a good personality 'fit' with one's therapist. Yes. Skill is involved. Yes. Education is vital. There are many therapists who have skill and education but who are still not able to REACH clients' hearts, minds, and lives. Where is the value in that?

Reading What You Need -
We'll spend our time together finding what your deepest needs are. I'm always scanning to feel into what you need. Do you need to just "verbally dump"? Do you need reassurance? Do you need to be guided? Do you need relief from symptoms of trauma? Do you need help emotionally, mentally or spiritually? Your soul is always speaking to me. It tells us everything we need to know. Eventually, you will learn how to listen to your own soul - by observing and working with me.
Established Therapy-

Once we've been working together for about 4-5 sessions, things really start to rock and roll.
Sometimes you will need only 65 minutes with me. Other days you'll need more time. Since you are my priority, not the clock, we will do our best to give you whatever you need without artificially ending the session before it's natural closure. I build in a half hour of extra time for each client. Overtime is billed at a prorated fee per 15 minute increment, and in a crisis - it's totally worth it.
As therapy progresses, usually things get more complex for a while. We COVER A LOT OF GROUND in our hour, but it can also bring up things you didn't realize needed help. This is why I have found that short-term therapy doesn't really work too well. It takes TIME to flesh out what's relevant for you. It takes time to evaluate all the layers of an issue. It takes time to build true safety. The psyche doesn't tend to let go of the secrets that it's been protecting in just a few weeks of work. It needs trust, encouragement, new ways of feeling hope, and your psyche needs to know it's gonna get what it needs. That's when your "protectors" within start to let down their guard.
Once the body and heart FEEL secure with me, that's when the fun starts. Every session will be a surprise! Your higher self knows exactly what needs to be healed next, and we'll get really good at reading that higher self of yours.
You and I will become a team. If you need me, you may text any time. If you need an emergency check in between sessions I am happy to hop on the phone with you for 15-30 minutes (or even a whole hour). Don't expect a stringent, by-the-book schedule with me. Humans are fluid. We will learn together how to work in the best way for you, and for me. Learning to navigate this extraordinary relationship is part of the therapeutic healing.
I am highly creative and know the language of the soul. No matter what blockages your being throws at us, the soul knows the medicine, and I know how to speak the language. I will teach you the language of your soul. Sessions become sacred hours of holy work. Remember having a best friend as a child? The one you told all your secrets to? The one you trusted would never tell the adults? Remember how good it felt to have such a sweet, close bond? The laughter, the meaning, the experiences you shared? Not all therapists practice this way, but I trust what the research tells us about Attachment Therapy: that an intimate bonded relationship is the quickest way to healing.
If you're longing for more from your therapist, this just may be what you've been looking for.

Details

Phone sessions are 65 minutes in length. (20 minutes longer than a traditional counseling session.) Either phone or internet-phone may be used (video is not generally used unless you feel you really need it). Once we establish a therapeutic relationship, I may suggest FaceTime or even in-person sessions from time to time, depending on your needs. The feedback I get from clients is that they fall in love with phone therapy. Not only is it the BEST way to connect for this type of hypno/meditative work, but it's easier, less time-consuming, and less draining that driving to an office setting.
After thousands of clients sessions, what I have observed to be the hardest part of counseling for clients is the high weekly price tag. Therefore, Fees have been mindfully set to lessen the financial load on folks who need weekly contact. If you live in Texas and have insurance, counseling is usually covered. It is my sincerest desire to make counseling as affordable as possible for people who need help.
I offer a sliding scale.
Weekly sessions are the least expensive.
Bi-weekly and monthly sessions are charged more.
A Sliding Scale is available for those who qualify.
If you have the ability to pay the higher fee all the time, I trust that you will be up front about that.
Learn about FEES HERE.
Your first 16 appointments will be stacked weekly. After your initial 16 weekly sessions, you may drop down to bi-weekly sessions, if you so choose. (Remember that bi-weekly sessions are charged at a different rate than weekly sessions.) It seems to work best when folks have a weekly or bi-weekly standing appointment. That way, you have a regular time to count on.
Payments are made by Venmo immediately after your session. There is a 24 hour cancellation policy.

What Can I Expect in an Actual Session?

Before you call, have something ready that you’d like to work on. The first few sessions will be the traditional “talk therapy” you may be used to, heavy on history-taking. We'll use that time to get to know each other, develop essential trust, and I’ll need to get to know your story.
Once you and I get to know each other, sessions will speed up. We’ll do just enough talking to find the “trigger”, then we’ll go right into "the work".
Healing work will look something like this… you’ll close your eyes and get comfortable. Most people like to lie down in bed. I will help you locate the issue in your body or mind. If you're open to it, we will call upon your WISEWOMAN/MAN within to help strengthen you. You may choose to ask angels and guides or The Divine to oversee the healing. I will verbally guide you deeper into the core of the issue. I will teach you to use your own physical sensations and mental imagery as clues to what the issues are, and how to heal them, which will serve you both in session with me - and in your meditations for the rest of your life.
Once we find the problem, the "medicine" will automatically be shown to us, along with the correct way to apply it. The effect is always a surprise and always enlightening!
Not only am I here to facilitate your healing, but it is my job to TEACH YOU HOW TO HEAL YOURSELF. The goal of the true teacher is to teach students how to do things on their own, not to foster dependence on the teacher.
This work usually leaves people with significantly less emotional pain, lessened physical pain, and often a great sense of peace and joy. Sessions are frequently miraculous, and regularly end with both of us in tears of gratitude.
Advanced Healing:
After we take care of the trauma and emotional chaos, we'll be ready to dive into the advanced curriculum. Advanced work consists of taking back your power from life itself. You'll learn to use the fourth-density heart to re-arrange energies in your life. You'll learn that you truly are the co-creator of your experience. Emotions will no longer hijack you. It can take work to get to this level, but many of my clients do just that. I could not be prouder to partner with you and witness your mastery of your life. At the level of mastery - a deep wisdom, essential calm, and natural confidence comes in. Once a person moves into this kind of advanced state, they rarely leave it. It's mostly "up" from there!
I can’t promise that a lifetime of pain will heal in just an handful of sessions. I can promise that together, we will join to locate and administer Love to the places that your being needs it most. We will fill in the deficits, together. And we will use the wisdom of ancient sages to tap into mastery of 3D life so you don't have to feel like a victim any longer.

Who May Not be a Good Candidate for this Work?

This kind of deep work is best utilized by people who are prepared to take full responsibility for their lives and who are ready to transcend their pain - once and for all. If an attachment to continue blaming others (or life) is still present, there may be deep resistance to healing. If you think you may not be ready to let go of a "victim role", my work would not be a good fit for you.
Trauma, abuse or neglect of any kind takes a longer course of therapy than lighter issues. I usually suggest trying three sessions to see how you like it. It’s important for you to take time to learn the work, because it may be different from what you've done before. It's also important for me to get to know how your mind, heart and soul operate. I assure you, once were rolling, and if you're really ready, things will start to shift quickly.

Tell me Something About You, Paige.

I'm happy to share my story, and personal experience anytime you would like to ask.
I was born in 1970 and started seeing my own therapists at the age of 14. I have kept 2-3 therapists/healers on my weekly support team every since. I attend regular weekly therapy, support groups, advanced psychological trainings, and indigenous healing training. Before I was out of my teens, I was already devouring spiritual and esoteric books of all kinds. I earned my bachelor's degree in Social Work when I was 28, but never worked in the field because by graduation day, I had two babies in diapers! I had my hands full. Those years raising small humans were full-blown learning years for me. Family dysfunction, alcoholism, addiction, depression in my close family were affecting me deeply. I like to say that I've lived 10 lifetimes in the past 50 years. It sure does feel like it.
My life has been a non-stop series of challenges which I usually enjoy looking at, head-on in the face. I say usually, because there have been a few incidents, so unspeakable, that I've needed more help and a long unfolding period in which to really look at everything. I can honestly say that my passion in life is looking at whatever is REAL without turning away. I love to love the unlovable. I love to seek the hidden mysteries of life and of people. I look for the best in people - naturally. It's not hard for me to see without judgment. I love helping people remember the truth about who they are so that all else can fall away.
The only real thing is LOVE. Everything else is false and can be let go of. Once we do that - we feel SO FREE!!!! I had to learn that the hard way.... just like everyone else.
I am proud to be an "open book", willing to share whatever it is you are curious about. In fact, I don't believe therapy can be effective without an equal playing ground on which we stand. I am not here to be your "better". I am here to offer you my sincere friendship, my personal experience and strength, my professional guidance, and to participate in and help facilitate the beauty of your unfoldment.
